After School Programming
There are two after school programs that students who are registered at senpaq’cin have access to participating in. For students who are under the age of 6 years old, there is an afterschool program run out of the kindergarten classroom. For those students who are 6 years old and above, have access to registering with The Right to Play Program run through the nk’mip Resource Centre. Extra-Curricular Programming
Senpaq’cin is fortunate to have a committed staff who place student needs at the forefront of all decisions. Staff volunteer to lead a variety of extra-curricular activities to help enrich personal experiences for students attending the school. Below is a list of some of the opportunities students and families can participate in throughout the year:


Sports Teams: the school offers lunchtime intramurals for students to participate in active games like basketball, volleyball, soccer and floor hockey. The school also has basketball, volleyball and soccer teams that travel and compete against the local school district elementary schools and some of the Band schools within the Valley.

Outdoor Sports: students have opportunities to experience downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, skating, swimming, mountain biking, Outdoor Winter Camp, traditional gatherings, traditional picking and root digging…
